In a former life I was a theatrical costume designer and pattern maker. Today, I create artistically styled accessories and items that blend contemporary design with vintage and classical details.

Color and texture help tell the character’s story, or visualize a mood on stage. Combining dyeing techniques such as shibori and ombre creates multi dimensional effects on fabric, as does layering colors in a polymer button. Many of the yarns I dye are composed of different fibers. Each fiber dyes slightly differently producing a watercolor finish.

Shawl pins and scarf rings are the latest additions to my collection. I shape and texture the wire into practical but attractive objects that preform the simplest task: securing a shawl or scarf. They add visual interest, and complement the scarf.

I strive to produce attractive accessories for my customers that help them feel beautiful every day. And can’t wait to see what they dream up with my yarn and buttons.
