Sculptor Michael Alfano's work usually balances figurative and abstract imagery to present a thought-provoking structure. He works in a range of sizes, from pedestal-size to large-scale outdoor installations. His many public sculpture commissions are on permanent display from throughout New England to Washington DC. Here, he is working on "Cubed", a sculptural puzzle in nine pieces, each in a different skin tone. It forms two faces: a male on one side and a female, inverted, on the other side. You can rearrange the sculpture to make interesting abstract designs, and even fun seating and tables. Hopkinton; MA; sculpture
