Alexandra Geller makes pieces that marry intriguing shapes and soft tones with functional purpose. Her serving pieces, plate sets, bowls, jars, casseroles and other functional wares cleverly combine good looks with high utility in pieces that she purposefully designs to be lightweight and satisfying to hold. Geller’s pottery is crafted of stoneware clay fired up to 2,200 degrees, and all pieces, whether wheel thrown or hand built, are created using only non-toxic, food-safe glazes. "Seder Plate", hand thrown and built high-fired glazed stoneware with traditional Hebrew characters incised in the clay tray. Easthampton, MA 01027
