Carolyn Morris Bach’s intimate creations are often figurative spirits surrounded by moons, suns and animal imagery. Each piece is fabricated by hand using 18k, silver, copper and selections of jasper, petrified wood, stones, bone or ebony creating deeply personal metaphors of the rural environment. Bach is a graduate of RISD and a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant. Her work is in many museum collections – and one of her pins is owned by Madeleine Albright and was included in her book “Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat’s Jewel Box”.
