Jane Herzenberg has always been fascinated by the hand and drape of fine textiles. A painter at heart, she has replaced canvas with silk as her medium of choice and adapted ancient techniques of surface design to create eminently wearable contemporary fashon. She writes, “My designs are enhanced by layering colors and fabric etching. Each of my garments is illuminated with rich saturated colors that can only be achieved by hand with a brush.”
