Thea Nicole Izzi has been designing and making her own jewelry since 1994. She is a native of Boston, MA, and a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA 1991).
“My work is made mostly from hollowed, cut and hand fabricated 22k gold over sterling silver ‘bimetal’ discs accented with round half drilled pearls or semi precious stone. I borrow from uncomplicated geometric shapes and patterns in nature and, by using a process of intuition and playful experimentation, make sculptural jewelry that emits as well as reflects a graceful, powerfully feminine and divine presence.”
