Rick Epstein is an expert in ceramic bas-relief sculpture. His clay landscapes are inspired by his love of Asian art and the perspective of a Chinese screen, and the scenes are representative of locations in his native New England, as in this commisioned work, created to fit a curved niche in a client’s home.
