Guided by a special perspective of light, shadow, color and form, Ning Lee paints objects commonly seen in daily life with a contemporary realistic approach that distinguishes his paintings with an element of orderliness, serenity, rationality and harmony. Inspired by the Renaissance masters and the seventeenth century Dutch masters Lee applies his painting skills acquired through years of academic training into creating still life paintings of long-lasting beauty.
