Linda Jacque considers her hand painted furniture as 'fun, funky bursts of color in deserving corners of customer homes.' She gathers ideas from a variety of sources, and then allows the shape of the piece to determine a design's special characteristics. For example, a knob on a drawer becomes the center of a sunflower. Jacque holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and worked as a graphic designer in NYC before returning home to western Massachusetts to renew her passion for painting and design. Clocks, tables, stools, armoires are just a few of the pieces that she paints. All look as if they sprang from the pages of a beautifully illustrated book about a magical place!
