Janice Kissinger Wearable Art

Janice Kissinger’s wearable art pieces are built, rather than sewn. Beginning with natural, loose wool fibers, both the material and the item are made at once in a sculptural process involving just soap and water. Kissinger uses luxury materials – fine Merino wool, reclaimed vintage silk saris and her own hand-dyed silk. Kissinger’s donation to the WGBY Silent Art Auction at Paradise City is a luxurious silk and wool fashion accessory.
