        FOUR HANDS IN THE STUDIO:

        Aaron Macsai and Frances Kite

In 1998, Frances Kite participated in her first Paradise City Arts Festival.
Aaron Macsai became an exhibitor at the Northampton show in 2010.
And it was at Paradise City Northampton in 2011 that they fell in love.
Kite is a master of cloisonné enamel, bringing a burst of color, an
edge of texture and a sense of depth to her work in gold and silver.
Macsai likes to alloy18K gold because of the soft and subtle colors he
can create. He is also fascinated by the process of marriage-of-metals,
creating intricate patterns by combining copper, silver and gold.
The tight precision of Macsai’s jewelry provides the
perfect framework for Kite’s exuberant colors and lines.
They share a studio just outside of Chicago.

        A MATCH MADE IN PARADISE!

“Paradise City was the beginning of a relationship

filled with joy, love, commitment and marriage.

We are living the dream of sharing a life and studio. The end result is new work, both
collaboratively and individually, that reflects our joy and happiness. It is jewelry that is filled
with a positive energy, with fluid lines and color combinations that are vivid and elegant. Our
goal is to create jewelry that is extremely wearable and timeless, with a signature quality that
is visually happy. We want the wearer to feel the piece they buy is the perfect addition to their
life. We don’t want it too loud — quiet elegance is just fine.”

                                                                                    — Frances and Aaron
