Artist statement:
I create organic illustrations inspired by medieval iconography, bucolic sensibilities and moments depicting folklore and human pleasures. Using hand built and wheel thrown techniques I create work that is reminiscent of pastoral place settings reinvented for a new era.
Am interested in constructing a sense of nostalgia and familiarity, a lasting search for the magic and mystery we no longer hold close, yet remember.
