I’m a Massachusetts based artist, primarily working with oil paints.

I think of painting as a language. It allows me to speak in the void where words are no longer tangible. My style of work is a unique fusion that embodies qualities of impressionism and abstract art, frequently paired with bold expressive color schemes.

Common subjects explored in my work include waterscapes, cityscapes, and reflections.

While I am working, I think of the buildings and ships often featured in my paintings as people. Using colors and textures to shape their personalities, and emotions throughout the process.

The physical reflections depicted in my paintings often lead me to explore the idea of self-reflection. As if the reflections in the water are capturing what the buildings and ships are thinking of themselves, at that moment in time.

I do not believe a finished painting needs to be perfect. More importantly, it must compel you to feel something.
