I am often torn as to which is more important; the rich textures or the gorgeous gems, as both play an important role in how and what I create.

Although I offer a complete range of products, I love making earrings!
Asymmetrical ones because I dont play by rules. If this resonates with you, check out my work and find your rebellious piece of jewelry. By the way, what man decided that earrings were supposed to be mirror images anyway?

Natural occurring textures like tree bark patterns, or the patterns the waves create in the sand, are just a few of my sources for inspiration. I interpreted these thru techniques such forging with old blacksmithing hammers. The hot metal has created unique indents, swirls and divots in the steel, as I apply this hammer to my sheet metal or wire it imparts textures as random as the weather in New England!

Another texture I enjoy using is reticulation, a way to wrinkle metal into hills & valleys, Reticulation is achieved with a torch, while repeatable the outcome will be different every time.

I am a self taught metalsmith with a thirst for knowledge. Armed with my MBA from Scared Heart University in Fairfield CT, books become my friend. Experimentation in the studio was substituted for formal training, allowing me to explore techniques freely. I can be heard telling patrons that each piece of my hand-fabricated jewelry has captured a moment of my life in metal and stone.

In 2019, at the 86th Annual Craftsmen Fair I was awarded the Edith Grodin Best Collaboration for “Contemporary Belt with 7 Conchas and belt buckle with a Rock containing Quartz, Chalcedony, and Scolecite with Sleeping Beauty inset to each piece.
