Carolyn Zakarija, originally from London, England, has pursued her career as a jeweler for the last three decades. Exhibiting her work in galleries and craft shows throughout the country.

Now in addition to adorning humans, her work has focused on exploring the human condition in a mixed media form.

“I cannot keep quiet, ideas run riot, to determine my measure, I begin with

found treasure, artifacts discarded, waiting to be reclaimed, recombined to

tell a story, inspired by a turn of phrase or a need to overcome lifes obstacles. My pieces grow and develop open-ended narrative for the viewer to complete.
