A fascination with formal beauty and scale inspires Donna Veverka’s interest in architecture and ornament. She has lived in Italy and traveled the world, studying the details of classical arches, battlements, columns and elegant public squares for their balance of weight, light, proportion and embellishment. These are the essential elements she brings down to the scale of a ring, necklace or bracelet. Veverka received a BFA from Philadelphia College of the Arts in Metalsmithing and an MFA in Sculpture from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
