Paul Willsea and Carol O’Brien work together combining blown and cast glass to create classic contemporary works of art. Inspired by the glass itself, Paul and Carol work with color, process and pushing the limitations of glass. A light touch at the right temperature is key to creating their elegant patterns. They currently produce two distinct bodies of work, starting with blown glass bowls and vases. Pictured here is an example of their breathtaking sculpture, voluptuous and meditative, whether hanging on walls or displayed on pedestals. Willsea and O’Brien’s glass art resides in many prominent collections, including Corning, Inc., United Airlines, Dean Witter Reynolds, the Hyatt Regency, CitiBank and the Saudi Royal Family.
